Reviews!

This time in reviews, I'm proud to feature a special guest - Victoria. We try to mix it up around here every once in a while, and since I went a little overboard with the shopping last month, I wanted to give someone else a shot. She definitely gives me a run for my money when it comes to handbags though, she's got a FABULOUS collection!!

(Anyone can submit their own reviews/outfit pics by the way...just send me an e-mail for more information.)

The basics on Victoria: she normally wears a size 2 in most
brands, size 27 in Sevens/COH. Check out her website for more pics and info.

Thanks Victoria!!

First, the bags!!! This is the navy foil Lizzie bag by Not Rational (from Testimo Boutique -
use code 'grechen's closet 15'' for 15% off).

"When I ordered this bag, I wasn't totally sure I would like it. I knew I liked the style but wasn't 100% on the color. When I saw the bag when it arrived, I totally fell in love:) I love
the unique color and the foil leather--It is very unique and the design is beautiful. I really like pairing this bag with a navy/white pinstriped blazer and dark jeans. I also like it with a white peasant skirt I have paired with a tee.
"

Here, Victoria so artfully shows how the Lizzie bag opens. It takes a little getting used to, but this unique opening allows the bag to actually lay flatter in my opinion.

"This is something I wore to Philadelphia for a museum visit, lunch, and shopping. I love the way the destroyed jeans look with the very classic black blazer and yellow tunic top--the jeans really mix it
up. The Pewter trigger (Botkier) was a perfect addition--it blended well with the other colors but still added a cute punch with the metallic color"

Medium Sage Bulga from Testimo

"Kelsey cable shrug is available at Abercrombie- Jeans are double-destroyed Madison jeans (A&F) from e-bay--I don't think they are available online-- THe gold t-straps are from UrbnOufitters The bag is Bliss Lau mini-accordion bag in emerald- I really love this outfit--The sweater shrug and white
blouse are cute paired with the really destroyed jeans. The gold shoes blend wella nd the accordion bag is the pop of color that the tame cream/denim need. I wore this out for dinner to a Thai restaurant with my husband.

Cropped khakis and white top from GAP--plaid scarf is from GAP, gold t-straps are from Urbn Outfitters. Bag - teal Not Rational Lizzie from Testimo.

"I really love this outfit and got a lot of compliments on it. It started out so boring--cropped khaki pants and white button down but then I added the gold shoes and gold hoop earrings. I still felt like it was missing a vital piece--I then
decided to try the plaid sash as a belt and it worked
perfectly. I think this outfit is classic and stylish
at the same time.

Pink sequined bolero from Urban Ouftitters and COH ingrids in Pacific.

"I got this for a great price
at Urban Outfitters--I try to wear it with simple pieces since it is a bright color and sequined--I
usually pair it with white tank, jeans, and pointy black flats or, now in spring, flip-flops."

This outfit is SEVEN blue A-pockets, white Old Navy tank, canvas floral blazer from Urbn Outfitters, Banana Republic perforated leather flats in cream/off-white. Not Rational Lizzie bag in Teal...again!

"I wore this outfit last week for casual Friday-I really like the whole washed canvas blazer look with the pointy perforated
flats and fitted jeans. I try to dress up my jeans to avoid the sloppy look that sneakers can bring. The teal Lizzie bag was a perfect match as the teal was the same color family as the blue in the blazer."

The pinstriped pants are from Old Navy, the white button-down top is GAP, the round toed pumps are Nine West, the dark red twiggy replica is from ioffer and the cropped jean jacket is GAP--the 7layer strand necklace is from Urbn Outfitters.

"This is one of my favorite outfits--I love the fresh combination of white, navy, and red. The dark red bag and 7 layer coral necklace really add a pop of color to the basic colors of the outfit. It is the perfect spring outfit in my opinion."

This outfit is mostly from Banana Republic-the pink tuxedo pants are from BR, the black button-down in BR, the Black peep-toe pumps are from BR and the black fitted trench is Sanctuary from Shobop.

"I also love wearing the pink tuxedo trousers with the black top--It is such a simple combination but looks really classic and put together in my opinon. I usually wear the black Sanctuary fitted trench to pull the outfit together. "
